Should an incident occur during your rental period, the car rental company would assess the damage and provide you with a loss damage report. They will then charge your credit card the assessed value of the car damage (this amount may be up to the rental vehicle excess amount specified in your car rental agreement).
Under your Rental Vehicle Excess (RVE) Insurance policy, you will lodge a written claim to Allianz Global Assistance (AGA) for the assessed car damage value. AGA will then reimburse the assessed claim value to you in accordance with the terms of the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
