Yes. First the car rental company will charge your credit card for the assessed damage cost.
Then, you will lodge a claim with Allianz Global Assistance to obtain reimbursement for the assessed claim value.
If there is a excess claim, am I required to pay the car company first (and reimburse me later) or will Allianz pay directly to the car company?
